Description
WWF Indonesia and Bank Syariah Indonesia are collaborating to restore the Rimbang Baling–Batabuh–Batanghari (RBBTH) landscape, one of Indonesia’s most important Sumatran tiger hotspots. The project focuses on rehabilitating degraded forests, protecting endangered species such as the Sumatran tiger, and supporting Minangkabau communities whose livelihoods depend on healthy ecosystems. This initiative matters because restoring forest integrity strengthens biodiversity, reduces human–wildlife conflict, and secures vital ecosystem services. By promoting sustainable, community-based conservation, the partnership aims to ensure long-term ecological resilience and a greener future for generations to come.
