Sustainable Rubber Agroforestry and Landscape Restoration in B30, Jambi - WWF JP 2024

This project promotes sustainable rubber production among smallholders in the B30 landscape, Jambi, while supporting forest restoration and conservation. It works with local farmers to improve rubber management practices that increase productivity without expanding into forest areas. The project matters because unsustainable rubber cultivation can drive deforestation and habitat loss. By integrating rubber agroforestry, restoring degraded land, and strengthening smallholder capacity, the initiative reduces pressure on natural forests, supports biodiversity conservation, and improves household incomes. This approach demonstrates how sustainable commodity production can contribute to long-term landscape resilience and community livelihoods.
